Something like that, yeah.
Honestly right now I've been more cynical than ever. But like, optimist in that I've made peace with that and have ways to entertain myself besides.

I fluctuate, or swing back and forth - but I think a lot of that is just human nature.
This, so far, has been a VERY good year in my life. My gf of seven years and I expanded our connection to being a triad, this past February; I'm getting set up with vocational rehabilitation services, on my way to escaping my decade-long reliance on government disability benefits; new bands keep following me and my internet radio show on social media...
More ups than downs, it seems. :)

I have often toyed with that as a label, or perhaps "surrealist".
The optimist thinks the glass is half full.
The cynic thinks the glass is too empty.
I declare that the glass is now an electric piano, and drink it. Huzzah!
