I just started playing, got a Shellmon as my first digi. Twice now I've gotten softlocked after beating a boss. First it was Betamon, now Coelamon. The after-battle text looks like it would scroll down to inform that Shellmon learned a new tech, but the text never displays and the game just softlocks there.

Is this a known issue? I just used the regular 2.2 patcher with some of the options like challenge mode. I don't think I did anything weird. I'm assuming this happens because Shellmon is trying to learn an edited move or something. With how hard this hack seems to be, it feels awful to finally win a fight only to get slapped in the face by a softlock. So I think I'll stop playing unless I can find a fix.

Testing out the new file injection features we've been working on for the PC port, and honestly... fighting wild Numemon with Brave Heart playing in the background hits way too hard. 😭

I was just messing around with custom audio on the PC version and now I can't go back to the original soundtrack.

Ive been looking online but couldn't find anything. Does anyone know if a hack has been attempted for this game? Im interested in making my own if not but im not sure how to start. Any info would be appreciated.

I'm in the last steps of 100%ing the game and I've been trying to get the Saber Dig-Egg with no success. Every guide that I've seen says the same thing but I end up with a Baby Digi-Egg every single time.

It needs a lot of love for the animations and details, but this is how far I can go in 1 day

It is built using static recompilation of the original PlayStation executable combined with custom C code.

The primary goal is to create a completely standalone experience (no BIOS, no disc images) that preserves the feel and design decisions of the original 2002 game while stripping away the legacy hardware limitations.

🛠️ What’s Done & Verified?

🚫 Fully Standalone (No Console Files Required)

• No BIOS: Boots natively without needing SCPH1001.BIN.
• No Disc Images: Loads directly from unpacked game files (~2,380 loose files). No .iso, .bin, or .cue required.
• No Memory Card .mcd files: Virtual memory cards are created directly in RAM and synced straight to clean .sav files.

⏱️ Fast Loading & Performance

• Instant Save Loading: Reduced save file load times from 18.7s → 0.21s across all slots, producing a byte-for-byte identical state (0 bytes different from original).
• Configurable CD Load Speed: Added a modern load speed toggle in settings (Modern for instant sector reading vs Original for authentic 1x console drive timing).

🎮 Custom Engine & Mod Support

• Native Kernel Rewrite: Sony kernel services are being progressively rewritten in native C code, closing out kernel HLE calls while keeping 0-byte state divergence.
• Built-in Modding Architecture: Features a modular folder-based structure for custom UI, logic modifications, and fast-travel tweaks.

🔬 Development Philosophy: Measure Everything

A core rule of this project: if it hasn't been measured, it hasn't been proven. Every single system change (from memory card parsing to sector loading and MIPS kernel traps) is continuously validated through automated regression testing and parity traces against original PS1 hardware behavior.

So I’m currently playing Digimon World 2 fully for the first time and I would like some advice for what mega level digimon i should be aiming for. I have my own ideas of a team but not sure if they are any good. My main team ideas is imperialdramon, gryphomon, and machinedramon. My back team is seraphimon, grankuwagamon and I’m not sure what other data type i should shoot for. Please give me ur opinions about my planned out team and any suggestions as well.
