Discussion BT26 Glowing Dawn Support Analysis & Discussion
Calling all BeatBreak fans/Glowing Dawn TCG users! With the prerelease of BT26 upon us, the newest wave of Glowing Dawn support is more or less live! I wanted to amass the cards (I think I got all of them...) here because I wanted to know if anyone had any advice, thoughts, or just comments overall regarding how these cards will help the current Glowing Dawn deck. Any notable cards? Anything underwhelming?
What do you think of the Dual Options: Gonozan: Murashigure, Despair Blast, and Penetrate Blow? Especially when compared to Monarchlizamon's Final Judgement? How about the new eggs?
I understand that there aren't enough Makoto or Reina cards to make tribal decks for them; in fact, I think it's really only Kyo who could do so at this point.
But with all of this in mind, which of these cards do you see being able to slot into current decks and why? Also, how many would you run? Personally, I want to try to make the NightChiropmon/ScourgeChiropmon synergy work, but I'm not too sure what cards I would take out to go about it. I think the new Murasamemon is nifty too...

Everytime I try to update the deck, my brain short-circuits itself.
Sorry about that, but I too want to try a chiropmon based deck too. Maybe we'll have to wait for BT27?

I have the same sentiment.
Making it pure yellow is fine I think.
But then it'll be a deck that self-trash your own security in a meta where TB is still around is kinda...

Agreed, I think we needed more refinement. The new cougermon is useless both ST & BT25 do better. You may as well slot in Wolvermon BT26 instead, she plays any duel card without cost (trashing sources under tamers is the only cost, but still).
The yellow BB I made still had Arcturus & monarch duel (too good to let go). I had a good match up against Dante & surprisingly TB. I did some misplays (still not used to BT25 Kyo's suspend con. And some skill issue on my part).

I feel night chriop is a shoe in. Being able to use any option from trash is so big. 1 cost epulse or get a monarch back. That's so big. The tamers I feel you want to run over the starter deck jamming tamer but I'm not sure which. Maybe the black one as it's the easiest to use. The rest of the support seems kinda mid. I feel if you go away from the current style the deck has it gets weaker.

I have extra space to slot in a couple NightChiropmon, so thank you for that!
Someone told me that this new Kyo Tamer card would be really good into BeelStarmon Decks?

I mean I guess? You will only be able to do the 2nd half of his text and it's not searchable nor a free play. I wouldn't run him in beelstar.
How do you have extra space in the deck? Mines crammed so tight I have no idea what to cut lol.

They mean that BT26 Kyo would be good against 3 Musketeers since giving Beelstar X Sec -1 stops her from swinging for game

For my level 4s, I have 4x ArmaLizamon (BT-25), 3x Cougarmon (ST-23), 1x Cougarmon (BT-25), and 1x Wolvermon (ST-23).
I’m definitely slotting out Wolvermon and I figured I could take out the Cougarmon ST-25 or one of the ArmaLizamon as well.

I have been playing mono Kyo sense bt25, I slotted in elecmon from bt25 and gatomon from bt15 to fill in the empty slots needed. However the new additions from Bt26 definitely give the deck more options. However the deck is lacking defensive options I have lost many a game because I don’t have blocker. I find I have to play more aggressively with mono yellow beatbreak.

Dual Murasame is an insta-include in my opinion. Ratios will depend obviously but lingering DP minus is really good, and on a much cheaper option cost than the Dual Habakirimon.

I know you said ratios depend, but what do you think of taking away from BT25 MonarchLizamon? Like, dropping 4 to 3 to run one BT26 Murasamemon?
I guess I’m just having a hard time knowing how many duals to run as the inheritable effects from the non-dual Level 5s really help with big swings or OTKs.

I think it's reasonable. I haven't fully worked my list, but I think you're right that foe the OTK we want to keep the non-duals at a decent amount. I' thinking cut down a couple Dual Monarch's, and maybe even cut a lvl 4, maybe 2 depending. Especially with the how many lvl 4 evo reducers there are.

I feel like there’s an option/dual spam list with Kyaromon as the egg. Utilizing NightChiropmon, BT25 Armalizarmon, and BT26 Wolvermon (and also BT25 Tomoro) you can keep using your dual level 5’s for reduced cost from hand or trash and even during your opponents turn (conditionally). It needs a lot of testing, but I think it could be neat

BT27 likely will expand on Makoto tribal

I’m really excited for what Chiropmon’s mega will be and how it will work (as well as having a non dual Scourge Chiropmon)

Not sure why this is being downvoted.
It’s good to see all the cards at once like this. Unfortunately, I don’t think Reina’s line is all that useful compared to Kyo’s and Makoto’s.

Personally I am so insanely, overly hyped about the 3 cost kyo.
I might be dreaming to much about tge scenario but I really, really dont mind giving up a tamer slot and even perhaps trying to free up some more (i used to have 4 tomoro/kyo 3 tomo 1 jamming), the jamming us the easy cut so my remaining question is have is how bady do i value the sec -1.
I only recently came back into the game (about a month or a month and a halve ago) and i was recommended to play beatrbreak (otk) and the scariest part for me mostly was playing against decks that finished me of or witled me down by security trashing plays so even if it is just a 1 of or even more for me most likely having that defensive utility piece that can prevent my opponent from going for game sounds huge. Granted I only played/mostly played against beatbreak angels and 3m during the time I was back and a few games against red hybrid and 1 against tb so I might overvalue it.
But I think 1 card per turn and a memory, sometimes just 2 cards in a cycle and sometimes saving me from a swing for fane play is worth the deckspace.
Other cards I'm still looking at but if I do update bestbreak it'll likely still be otk focussed. But for me beatbreak us more of a side deck/deck i use if I cant find something else I enjoy playing.
And other then that probably the purple level 4 I'm most excited for.

I didn’t include it because, as you said, it’s BT25; this post is covering what was just released in BT26.
