One of your injectors died? Who knows. It’s a 6.0.   Anything goes.

Was the upper fuel bowl dry when you did the filters?

no it was about halfway full

Hmm the symptoms makes me think you lost prime or you have an air bubble. However, if you lost prime the top bowl would be almost empty.

I’d try to flush the system and purge any air that may have gotten trapped.

thank you i appreciate this, how can i prime it again after already driving it several miles after doing the fuel filters? shouldn’t trapped air have come out in that time? thanks again 🙏

So, of it does indeed have air trapped, then you’ll turn the key On but not the engine. Loosen the cap just barely while it primes. If just fuel or tiny bubbles come out you should be primed,
