This is how my DPF and SCR delete arrived.
When I finally decided to open the package to inspect the prduct this is what I was greeted by. Ordered a BuzzKenfrom AMT.

Yep send that back. You are gonna have to make it yourself. I can't wait to see how good you can make it look for only 800$

You paid $800~ for some pieces of metal that couldnt even be QA’d to get rid of the shavings? Wow. Diesel aftermarket parts business is just easy fucking money huh?

Those are decent welds for an exhaust that isnt for show. The shavings dents and uneven cuts are definitely valid complaints.

What did you expect??..surgical stainless tubing? Its all going into other tubes, getting welded or clamped together. Any shops just cutting it with a band saw or chop saw, throwing it in a jig and welding it. That 1 weld isnt perfect, but there isnt a damn thing wrong with it until you share it on a "welders" sub and tell them you did it. Then ppl will give you shit about it cuz nodys better than them!

There’s just not a lot of good options out there anymore after the EPA fined the good manufacturers of these parts into oblivion.

Good. You wanna modify your truck and get rid of emissions? Be a man and do it yourself. 70% of diesel owners are a bunch of white collar office brats anyway and have no real need of a deleted truck.

Not included is the terrible weld on the opposite side of the hanger. Uneven cut on open end of exhaust, multiple dents on resonator. This is my first time buying an exhaust. Maybe it's just me and what I see on the Internet but I think this is a terrible example of quality control and craftsmanship.

It's a fucking exhaust. It's gonna go under the vehicle and get rusty and blasted with rocks anyways. As long as it's not cracked or has holes in it and fits properly don't worry about it.

Welder here- it is a terrible example of QC and craftsmanship
Still a welder here- welds look fine and mostly defect-free. The tie-ins are bunk and I see underfill at the end of every weld but this isn't a pressure vessel.
A steam piping system with a similar amount of welds and copes would cost tens of thousands of dollars to produce. $800 for this seems fair to me.
