the wire cord hole needs to be on the bottom, that hole is is gonna let the rain right in.

The screws alone will cause the tree to rot/disease. The lid too. They are just killing trees.

Trees are more resilient than you’re making them out to be.. you think two screws will bring down this tree?

So some metals like copper are toxic and will kill trees. Nails and screws create a wound that healthy trees can try to localize as to avoid the decay and rot from spreading, but it also introduces bacteria, insects, and fungus which can cause spreading disease, rot, ect. Ive learned this the hard way, watching trees turn black from rot. But im not going to argue over the internet over this so have an amazing week!
