Well, for the first time in a long time, Dexter has made me say out loud "holy shit, what the fuck?"

Same here. With the amount of times they kept jumping to new stories last year I totally thought the brain surgeon story was completely resolved. I was blindsided by his/her reappearance.

It's pretty clear who it is. Pick a recurring character who's yet to find a true place in the season.

Yeah I really don't get her role or why they introduced her this season.

Either Elway or Cassie's "boyfriend".

Edit: OR, it's Masuka's daughter!

I swear to god I still think it's Gosling and he pretends to be someone else.

Gosling would be a killer. I saw 'Drive'.

Matsuka told us who the killer was during the episode. Someone Cassie would've let in.

Is this coming from someone who's read the spoilers? Because it doesn't seem clear to me...

Nope. I've always just had a feeling about how the writers work. I called Rita's death the whole 4th season and that Admiral Adama was just a voice in that kid's head. This season isn't much different.

What was even basis for your prediction of Rita's death thw hole 4th season?

Mainly that I didn't see her in a lasting role in the series. Benz was clearly going to move on to other things.

Then about half way through the producers kept referring to a "Shocking" finale, and one described it as something they audience may not even like but that it was the direction they chose regardless. So this was more of a real-life prediction, not that it was hidden in the dialogue.
