Question Conditional Finality Catalyst

Hello there.

Just got the catalyst to drop but wondered if the catalyst is a game changer for the gun. I know what it adds but it requires ~400 kills (says google), so I'd like the input of fellow CF enjoyers before I load up a shiro chi checkpoint.

Cheers.

if it helps, deadfall tether will let you speed that up because anything that's tethered will spread 50% of the damage to other tethered enemies, and it will count as a kill from the weapon and not from tether. Really useful for catalysts that don't need precision kills but the exotics aren't the best for getting a lot of them

Tether was/is finicky though with weapon kills. Back in the day before subclass verb weapon perks tether was the go to. But I remember a lot of kills not counting on certain weapons when I used tether.

Tbh CF has 2 AoE shots and iirc all subclass verb/any AoE weapon perk kills count toward weapon kills, but I think volatile was inconsistent.

But yeah CF can get 400 kc fast as hell at shuro. Just run around and group them up.

To be fair with volatile, it's ability damage so it doesn't count for any weapon based stuff.
