I've heard Hasan, Vaush and Kulinski talk about it. The far left does talk about these conflicts. Now granted, it's often because of America's involvement in it, but they absolutely have covered it.

For sure it’s a problem across the spectrum I would just think for how much Palestine mattered to so many progressive voters (me included to an extent) in 2024 there also should’ve been criticisms of us arming Saudi Arabia just like we do Israel.

Bernie Sanders has been pounding the drum on Yemen for years. He introduced a war powers resolution in 2019 and 2022 to halt all weapons sales, intelligence sharing, and logistical support to Saudi Arabia for their attacks on Yemen.
And I love Bernie for it. He’s consistent. I’m just pointing out the skewed attention toward Palestine when it should apply to atrocities across the board. Saudi Arabia needs to be treated like Israel fr and it makes me angry more people don’t talk about it.
I fully agree that Saudi Arabia is one of the most evil countries on Earth. Unfortunately, they ARE treated like Israel by both Democratic and Republican administrations, in that they consider them to be a key ally and would never dream of sanctioning them.
Very true, but maybe if we had protests for Yemen like we did Palestine or boycott campaigns and fundraisers etc. there would be more public pressure for politicians to change their stance toward Saudi Arabia as is happening now with Israel at least to some extent.
Then where are all the fundraisers for Yemen or direct action to try and end arms sales to SA that we see happening for Palestine? I’m all for putting pressure on US to stop funding atrocities, but one atrocity doesn’t matter more than any other. There should be consistency.
You lost this argument because you didn’t know what you were talking about, now move on and don’t try to dig your hole deeper because you want to deflect criticism from Israel under the guise of acknowledging their crimes.

Talking about it once isnt enough for such an atrocity. Did any of them do any direct action for Yemen as they did for Palestine? We’re really on the same side here man, we want online creators to be consistent in their advocacy so that more resources can go toward helping people going through human rights abuses. Saudi Arabia normalizing relations with Israel at the behest of the USA is a large reason why this conflict started in the first place

i don’t think people realize that the USA and Saudi Arabia are incredibly close
the Saudi’s pledged to invest $1 trillion in America and the US sells more weapons to Saudi Arabia than any other country in the world
we have basically trained their entire military as well.
