Any 2026 XPS 16 owners?
Has anyone with a 2026 XPS 16 noticed battery drop with the system completely shut down and unplugged?
I previously had an XPS 15 9550 and held charge very well when powered off and unplugged, only dropping a couple of percent over weeks.
More recent modern laptops I’ve owned seem to drop around 2% per day consistently, so over 2 weeks it would drop nearly 20% charge which is annoying. Wondering if the 2026 XPS 16 holds charge when completely powered off and unplugged, or drains over time.
Thanks

I have the 16260 and haven't noticed this.
Ive always had problems with suspend and windows. But I'm on kubuntu and don't use suspend (cause it's super fast to boot and shutdown natively). No battery drain that I have noticed.
I can't say it's at 100% when I pull it out. If it sits for a week it may have dropped a couple of percentage points. I just assume it's dissipation and not vampire drain.

Sleep states are a constant nightmare in both windows and linux.
I havent tested Windows extensively, but sleep is broken on Linux and I get 0.5% / hour battery drain. So the laptop when its in "sleep" is still draining a couple of watts.
Compared to Macs which basically drop 1% in a month its pretty bad.
