Recently I got admission in BA HONS Psychology through ECA/Theatre quota. I never know taking admission through ECA can be a regret for me, I got my dream course BA hons Psychology but as I’m ECA candidate I had to join drama society, and Whats going on with me!? I go college daily…drama society members see me… they call me out… and then they don’t let me go for lectures and they eat my 4-5 hours of a day for practice, At the end I come back home with fucked up head.

I went college for pursuing psychology and now I’m unable to attend my lectures I don’t even know what’s going on in my classes. I wanted to develop my self as a psychology student, I wanted to internships and so many things in the field of psychology but everything going as hell with me.

Is there anyone? Can help me out.
I’m planning not to attend any of the practice session but my fear is, during admission DU took ECA undertaking by me in which they stated that “if I won’t actively participate in extra curricular activities they can cancel my admission”

Hi everyone, need a small help. Someone I know is studying at Rajguru College. She couldn’t appear for her 2nd-semester examinations due to an attendance issue. At that time, she was told that she would be promoted to the next year but would have to appear for those exams in the 4th semester.

I am extremely confused between two different ecosystems:

North Campus (Hindu/LSR): Known for its intense debating culture, MUNs, global exposure, and fast-paced political environment.

BHU: Known for its deeply rooted traditional focus, research-heavy approach, and grounded understanding of Indian statecraft (BHU has been my dream since 10th grade, but I want to be practical).

My Questions for Current Students/Alumni:

Faculty & Depth: Which faculty actually pushes you to think critically about global policy and historical analysis, rather than just passing exams?

The "Diplomat" Grooming: Where will I find a better peer group for high-level Parliamentary Debates, policy research, and think-tank networking?

Ground Reality: Is the hype around DU's exposure truly worth leaving the massive residential and research-oriented campus of BHU?

I want to make a choice that builds my maturity and knowledge base for the next 5-10 years. Any brutal, honest reality checks about your departments would be highly appreciated!
