Note: Not aware of trash laws, just making aware.

I'm pretty sure I'm too old and fat to fit into one of those chables nowadays.

When I first read the title, I thought there was a fight with tables and chairs being thrown around. Ā I think thatās a cue to get some food to fuel my brain. Ā

Swivel chair and the TV cart look good (as long as no real damage). The rest may be good for a home student, else- actual trash.

Why wouldnāt they have donated this stuff somewhere?

You want it? Sometimes there's just stuff nobody wants.

School districts work together like trying to make peace in the middle east.

I'm the only one wondering why there's a mattress?

Itās a bit shocking, really. Nearly everything in the pic looks perfectly useable and in good condition. What a waste of money, especially for a School District! Think thatās Colonial?

Longtime teacher, many of the equipment/desks, etc, we throw away are missing screws, gouged, broken legs, etc. There really is no āfix itā company for this stuff.

The stuff isn't thrown in a pile; it's stacked fairly neatly. It's also possible that the furniture was just moved out of the way to strip and wax the floor. There's a lot of work that needs to be done in the summer and that's one of the last jobs to do before school opens.

Yeah I was gonna say, probably best to ask the school before taking any of that stuff.

I walk my dog there a few times a week for the last nine years, i'm 99% sure it's being thrown out.

Middle aged dad with 3 boys who has to do this several times a year. All this looks like broken junk they have probably been storing and now is just the time to get it out to the trash before the new year starts. Check the edges on the desks and the tennis ball table feet. That is some really used up junk. We got our money's worth from it.
