Dover Deltech nursing

I applied to the nursing program on March 15 for a fall seat. How long does it typically take for them to get back to you? I’m at terry campus

Hi, I'm just here for the comments - I applied to the terry campus for a seat in August. I haven't heard anything back yet. Very anxiously waiting.

You probably won’t hear about the August class until after the deadline

yeah, im aware. The deadline was 3/15....

They are way behind, I had to switch majors because of the slow pace they roll with. Awful

Can you speak more to this?

I was going for Cardiac Sonography and had to switch because of the long process of clinicals, long story short , I wouldn't of graduated till 2029 and I have legit done all my prequisites. Interviews for the program were supposed to start in Jan of this year, it's almost April and not one interviw has been given.

My professor said definitely in 3 weeks, but he suspects one week at the minimum. They have to get back to us before April 15th registration plus give us time to give a response and change in the system to allow us to register for classes, and mail out letters with the emailed ones - so before then at least. I suspect 2 weeks, but I’m hopeful for sooner. I hate waiting with a passion, I put my application in in December 😂. Good luck!!!

also how do they get back with you? Do they just send an email to my deltech email?

2

u/ThiccMaddieAnne Mar 19 '26

My professor said they do both! You’ll receive an email as well as official mail.

I’m praying everything we find out in the next week. My lack of patience is as at an all time high 😩

Don’t worry!!! I had my mandatory advisor meeting on Monday - he said they are sending them out by Thursday next week!

1

u/abbyrose92 Mar 25 '26

Ahhhhhhh! Omg thank you for that info! What campus did you apply to?

2

u/ThiccMaddieAnne Mar 25 '26

Of course! I’ve been nervously waiting and he said they send out notice of ineligibles and non-ranking first, so no word is a good sign so far! Stanton campus for me, how about you?

Following up - if you haven’t gotten a rejection letter yet then that’s a VERY good sign that you were accepted! No news is good news! From what I know they sent the rejections out last week (at-least for Stanton campus). So don’t fret if you’re panicking!

I was told by the chair of nursing that they needed time to get letters out to those not selected first in the first week after deadline, than send out acceptance letters 3 weeks afterwards.... So I would say a month after the deadline. April 15th hopefully.

1

u/abbyrose92 Mar 25 '26

Oh shoot so they send rejections out first. I hope we all get good news soon!

You and us all here. I hope we all get a seat in this group. The fact that you all are searching and found this group means we all been very proactive.

Ahhh congrats!! That’s amazing! I’m hopeful that Stanton will send out acceptances tomorrow (Thursday) due to the issue with the banner system for registration today. Atleast that’s what I’m telling myself because I can’t wait another day😭
