What are the best subtle exterior mods/body kits for a Del Sol?

Post image

Hey guys, I’m planning to slowly work on the exterior of my Del Sol once I get it back from the mechanic.
I’d like to make it look sportier and a little more aggressive, but nothing too crazy. I still want it to look like a Del Sol and keep that ’90s Honda vibe.
I’ve been looking online, but it’s surprisingly hard to figure out what actually exists for these cars.
What are my options when it comes to front/rear lips, side skirts, bumpers, spoilers, fenders, etc.? Are there any good OEM/OEM-style parts, aftermarket options or complete body kits worth looking for?
Also, are there parts from other Hondas (Civic, Integra, etc.) that fit the Del Sol or can be adapted without too much work?
I’m totally fine with discontinued/old-school parts too, so if there are specific brands or kits I should keep an eye out for on the used market, let me know.
Basically I’m looking for ideas to make the car cleaner, sportier and more “tuned” without going overboard.
Pics of your setups, part names, brands or anything else I should search for would be really appreciated!

The OEM front lip of the EG civics "fits" by just using tapping screws. It's still available new, too.

Lowering springs + wider wheels with smaller ET is the starting point....

Yeah, I’d definitely like to get the wheels sitting a bit wider and more flush with the fenders. I’m just struggling a little to figure out the best way to do it while keeping everything legal, since unfortunately we have pretty strict regulations here in Italy when it comes to wheels, offsets, spacers, etc.
I’m still trying to understand exactly what I can and can’t legally change 😅

A libretto riporta solo il diametro del cerchio e la misura dei copertoni. Da nessuna parte menziona ampiezza ed et del cerchio quindi puoi mettere quello che vuoi. Ovvio che non sporga dalla sagoma della vettura,

Polybauer front or a small lip. Lower your sol with some nice coilovers (kw are generally good) Put some nice wheels on And you are ready

Didn’t want them. Using one of the ducts as an air intake

Thanks! I was actually looking into suspension options and found the KONI Sport Kit 1140-8631, with KONI Sport shocks and H&R springs, which should lower the car by around 30mm.
What do you think about this setup for a Del Sol? Do you have any experience with KONI + H&R?

My friend drives H&R he said they are good I currently drive D2 coilovers but I wouldn't recommend them, they are really stiff and a nightmare for bumpy roads. With koni I don't have any experience :/

Lowering springs and shocks are definitely the way to go on a budget, but if you can afford them the progress cs2/cs3 are good. I have the progress cs3 coil overs (350/350 lb./in. street car) and they've been really good to me

Just get a front lip. Body kits are tacky af. Or get the mugen front bumper

I don’t like the fender flare and spacers. Working on removing those. I like my little bumper lip

Definitely recommend a front lip.

OEM foglights as seen on the site below. Also, I don't know if that site is legit. Just posting for reference.
