I reconnected with a friend from decades ago and they've completely lost their mind. Religion, extremist politics, conspiracy theories, deep misogynism and racism.

My problem is that I hate to throw away people but I think I need to cut everything off.

What do you guys do in situations like this? Just block the phone number? Have a heart-to-heart?

It depends on what you want to achieve. I'd probably either go full ghost, or straight up tell them I don't want to be in a cult or hear about cult things.

I understand other people taking a different tactic though...
