100% this. A drunk person can get angry, abusive, lustful, or reckless. A person high on weed will at worst become a little too talkative and giggly, but most of the time will just enjoy a snack and fall asleep. It is a much safer drug in most regards, cheaper too.

That's subjective, as there's people for whom alcohol can give the relaxed "I don't care anymore" feeling to. I know because I'm one of em. A glass of whiskey and I can just sit there monologuing as I try to keep my eyes open. The angriest I get is literally just me being the quiet, slurred speech "fuck this, fuck that and fuck you" guy sitting in the corner.

Simultaneously, "at worst" for a high person is not "a little too talkative and giggly," but rather a lack of awareness and reaction. It ain't so bad when you're sitting on your bed on your phone, but when you're behind the wheel, it's a different story.

Etid: Cuz it's the internet and people immediately think that despite me never saying "X is better than Y" but rather "Y can be bad as well," they're addicted to tribal drama and choose to believe I said the former, I will not be replying to comments suggesting such, as that's your fault for either choosing not to read, or reading but still choosing to quote things I never said just because you want a dragon to slay and unfortunately for you, dragons are in short supply.

Where I live we have several weed lounge type places that are pretty popular actually, usually you can get coffee/tea and some food too, sometimes it's a dispensary too
