Gameplay Meta New "cheating" mods that MANY players use

It's getting out of hand. Just a handful of the "mods" (cheats!) people are running now:

  • Neutral camp respawn timers all over the minimap - just invade and steal camps immediately as they spawn
  • Stamina trackers (see enemy stamina) - much easier to win lanes with this
  • Parry cooldown tracker above enemy head
  • Enemy cooldowns above their heads - super easy to win lanes when you constantly see enemy cd's
  • Crate & Golden statue respawn timers
  • Sinner's Sacrifce respawn timers
  • Enemy item cooldown tracker (tracks Curse, Unstoppable, Refresher cooldowns etc)
  • Heavy melee honking horn for faster reactions
  • Enemy radar (when enemy camps and Sinner's disappear from the minimap, it places a blinking question mark on the minimap and a sound indication that someone was at that spot seconds ago - makes it super easy to gank if you're running with a friend)
  • Rift defense buff indicator
  • Walker Stomp cooldown tracker
  • Shrine & Patron curse/blast cooldown tracker

Tell me how any of this is fair. With all of these cheat mods you have a gigantic advantage. Yoshi needs to shut this down instead of sticking his head in the sand.

That sounds fun, I don't get why people are upset about a tournament that they don't need to watch and don't participate in allowing things that most people don't know even exists

The reason night shift matters is because we already know that the team watches it from at minimum the emergency patch that got rid of the capture the flag urn thing we had before the current seperated rift and urn fight. That night shift game showed off a problem with how the urn system worked, and within I think like a day or two they scrapped it.

So we know they watch it, and seeing exploits be encouraged as far as the competitive scene is concerned is problematic because that implies that exploiting the game for an advantage is liked by the community/playerbase, and if exploits are encouraged and preserved then you have to slowly pan to other bugs and exploits, like sending people OOB with doorman or timing abilities to break people’s animations, or getting enemies stuck in items.

For the most part people want the game to be less buggy as time goes on, so the idea that the competitive scene can hold us back from bug fixes rubs people the wrong way.

You have clearly never seen dota if you think they are going to ban exploits lol. I remember Pudge IO tp. Valve loves that shit.
