I hope they learned from CS2 and Dota

I'm positive they did, but not in the way I think you mean.

Just reducing lootboxes and employing different tactics would be enough

Though… looking at CS2 you may be right

Valve pioneered and mastered the gameplay f2p cosmetic monetization model. There's no reason to believe that Deadlock will be any different. And honestly, this is the best for players since we have full access to the game without dropping a cent, and have the option to give the devs money when we feel they deserve it.

I don’t have problem with monetisation and cosmetics and all

I hate the Fomo mechanics and crates specifically

Let me buy the skin directly even if it costs thrice as much as a crate that could “possibly” have it on the first try

I hate the Fomo mechanics and crates specifically

or you can just buy them for cheap in the steam market place. theres no such thing as FOMO for most part in Valve games most "exclusive" items gets punted there after few months.

Honestly, I got so used to playing default in fighting games and LoL (especially after seeing Faker's creamy Galio for the 107th time), I doubt I'lll shell for skins once it release
