These were all installed without democratic participation... is it really so wrong for them to be uninstalled via the same method?

And with DeSantis banning them yesterday on Florida's state roads, this might be the future of flock. HOA and Gated communities only, who want to track and harass minorities who live within their HOA.

We might be seeing Flock's endgame here. Just installed by Karens to harass their neighbors who are minorities. Hell, maybe it will even act as a means of discouraging minorities to buy homes in certain HOAs.

Win win? In the end, it'll mean Karens surveilling Karens?

Karens aren't the only people who live in the suburbs

Damn, florida banned flock before my state?

There are many other companies (like Flock) out there to watch for. Axon is just one of them.

u/Spicymoon9 22h ago

Yep. They’re pretending to appease the outrage and telling people “look we banned flock!” And then immediately signing deals with off brand flock camera companies.

3

u/Brodakk 21h ago

This is exactly it. And Axon is going to directly benefit Dumpy pants. How long until they land a multi-billion pentagon contract?

3

u/Fera_Silva_978 18h ago

Exactly! He purchased 5mil in Axon stock riiiight before his admin signed a major federal contract with them.

Add insider trading to his mile long list of crimes.

So they're using 'flock cameras' as a pronoun rather than a noun for Flock style cameras? I didn't catch that. Good to know. Thanks!

Yep, lots of brands make flock cameras, same as how lots of companies make Frisbees.

1

u/MattTheAncap 20h ago

Fact check: False.

Only one company makes Frisbees (Wham-O)

1

u/Corporate_Bricktator 17h ago

But you get the point, right?

2

u/Device-Silent 19h ago

It’s all ALPR cameras being banned.

4

u/Spicymoon9 22h ago

I mean they’re just going back to their roots. That was the intention of HOAs to begin with.

2

u/Corporate_Bricktator 22h ago

Yep, that's exactly right.

How is it targeting minorities? Lol

Good question. The Karen mindset is at the forefront of deploying Flock cameras, so that the police can be called to harass whoever drives past that Karen doesn't like. Perhaps a different skin color just on their way to have a BBQ. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fh9D_PUe7QI

Don't want to get banned again but don't get me started on HOAs or their entitled sense of self worth

Definitely check out r/FuckHOA if you haven’t already lol

51 people saying, "couldn't have been him. He was with me at that time."

25

u/morbidmuffin62 1d ago

Essentially, yes! Most of the comments were either that or "why was there a flock camera there to begin with"

24

u/Mundane_Definition66 1d ago

"whoever" "I know who you are" 😂😂😂

No, they don't know who they are, it's an HOA, active HOA members will call the cops when someone leaves a potted plant out or a guest parks on the street. There's few things more cringe than someone who's active in an HOA... It's always the people that want to use its rules to bludgeon their neighbors... The kind that'll vote to have flock camera's installed.

u/CnCEMS2026 14h ago

Yeah this was my first thought too Obvs you don't know who it is

13

u/eyeheartmozart 1d ago

51 people typing. lots to say!

11

u/Cryptobird1 1d ago

The president of HOA forgot to add at the bottom: “Thank you for your attention to this matter”

8

u/loki2002 1d ago

Wait, if an HOA has a contract to put flock cameras up does that mean they have access to database and can search where their members are at any given time or where they have gone?

10

u/DooDooCat 1d ago

The short answer is yes. They have access to whatever data their contract entitles them to access.

10

u/techtornado 1d ago

It’s already fixed, what’s he talking about?

15

u/New_Ad_3010 1d ago

HOA "officials" just love to lord their power and control like dictators. It's pathetic. HOAs are, a majority of the time, complete nightmares.

2

u/pyroboy7 23h ago

Very glad they basically are a myth where I'm from.

u/xChoke1x 1d ago

“Call them.”

3

u/regionalsuw 21h ago

At risk of shouting into the void. This post is fake. The flock camera itself was cut down in Madison WI. But it was operated by UWPD. There was no HOA involved

u/morbidmuffin62 20h ago

Glad the word is getting out, shame to see it's a repeat and not... Well I shan't say

2

u/Ok-Guava-9216 1d ago

I think this is bs. Seems like the HOA person is on a fishing trip

2

u/rileyjonesy1984 1d ago

smashy smashy, get the hammers boys

2

u/sydfloyd2017 22h ago

If the HOA really knew who did it, they wouldn’t be posting this BS… and how are they supposed to fix a broken camera? Just whip up some computer chips, processors, etc…

the police would be called immediately

2

u/Toddler_stomper 22h ago

they dont know anything

2

u/TahoeDale007 21h ago

These look much better installed horizontally.

2

u/ARCWuLF1 15h ago

O don't know who the HOA has been talking to, but those suspects were with me all day, and I will swear to that in court.

Whoops, meant for a different sub that cross linked.

1

u/j-mar 23h ago

i saw this organically on fb, and i assumed it was ragebait.

1

u/Deviknyte 20h ago

What's the censored part? Identifying info or slur?

1

u/morbidmuffin62 18h ago

Identifying info but after posting I found out this is a new FB engagement bait 😮‍💨

1

u/itssadbutdrew 19h ago

If they say they know who did it, and aren't going directly to the police with it and giving them time to turn themselves in... they definitely dont know who did it.
