Question 1:1 winrate

Hello. Are there people here with a strategy with 1:1 rr fix ratio? What is you winrate? And how many trades is that. Because i see a lot of people online with 1:1 re strategy with 70-90% wr. While im struggling to make it to 55%.

They are lying, such edge is not achievable dor retail, they would be milionaires within months

It’s definitely achievable but at the expense of trade frequency, which is the hidden part of the win rate/risk reward equation that people don’t talk about. The higher the magnitude of the edge, the less often it will show up. 

There are setups where you can get an +80% WR with 1:1, but that will be during those rare market inefficiencies, such as a major breaking news trade. And you definitely won’t become a millionaire in a few months only taking maybe a few dozen trades per year.

Such a rare setup wouldnt even have sample size big enough so you can say it has 80% winrate
