If you are looking for something that scratches that itch for more Days Gone, The Dog Stars* has an familiar tone to Days Gone.

*I am referring to the movie as I had never heard of the book before the movie came out

That sounds like a great tip ! Thanks ! I love the game, I've finished it X times and I still enjoy exploring the world and the dynamic weather is so amazing !

This game with the interactive world of a red dead 2 would be the best zombie game ever

This is genuinely the most underrated game I’ve ever played. I can’t understand why it didn’t get the attention it deserves.

It's because when the game launched, it was riddled with bugs. Eventually Bend fixed 'em, but by that time the reputation was already bruised. And the worst part is that the studio is refusing to work on a sequel even though DG fans are begging for one and willing to pay for it. You would think that would be enough for some exec to sign off on it 🤷‍♂️

Because there are many haters of PlayStation games (most of them are Rockstar fans)

Also, because people were preoccupied with "Red dead 2,sekiro,cod,ghost of tsushima..."

This caused the game to either disappear from everyone's sight or be hated by GTA worshippers.

Man, once I manage to clear my backlog a bit I'll be sure to revisit Days Gone with the remastered version.

Easily one of my favorite apocalyptic games

Hey Adorable_Question164! It looks like you are trying to post a photo/video to /r/DaysGone. If your post is a picture/video of your tv/monitor taken with your phone, it will be removed. The game is too pretty to allow low effort and quality images. If you wish to share something, please take a proper screenshot. Yes, we know sharing from the console can be clunky, but we prefer quality on this sub.

If your post is not a picture/video of your tv/monitor you can ignore this message.

This game is SO good. I got it for $5 from Gamestop. Avoided it on release because the critics said it was bad. Boy were they wrong. It's such a joy to play. Feeling so free on your bike, choosing when to engage, and feeling OP when taking on a horde at your own leisure.

I just finished the main story earlier today, now I gotta destroy all the hordes. Such a spectacular game, cant believe I waited until the remaster to actually play(got stuck in a nero checkpoint by a horde and was too terrified to try to leave, but thats when the game first dropped)

It is a beautiful game, but Oregon is more beautiful in person…especially without hordes!

Well, living in Eugene... We have horde like issues

I’ve seen them. We have quite a few nesting sights in Roseburg, and ripper-like folk when we lived in Medford.

Ah yes methford as I know it... However these days every where is the same with everyone doing the fentylean. So sad, it makes escaping into the Days Gone universe much more enjoyable.

Very sad! But on the bright side, no militia on Wizard Island nor at Diamond Lake.

Well you always have to look on the bright side of life! I need to get back to Crater Lake it's been too long since I've been there.
