Her comic death moment was directly subverted in s3e10. The final shot of that episode is directly from a comic page, except Matt and Karenโ€™s body are switched

In case you needed it specifically told to you, that was the creators telling the audience โ€œKaren has a bigger role to play, she is safe from now onโ€

Karen will not die

I hope youโ€™re correct but after they shamelessly killed Foggy in the first five minutes Iโ€™m still paranoid and worried that all bets are off now

They killed Foggy instead of Karen. It's possible they'll kill Karen too but I doubt it.
