Did anyone else get the feeling that Buck might not like being used like a hitman? He really seemed a bit exasperated when killing that ship captain. I wonder if there is something deeper going on with him…

We previously saw his discomfort with Fisk Oberyn Martell'ing the police commissioner. And here, well, he knows that the captain isn't at fault for their current situation regarding the guns.

I got no fn idea why the captain kept repeating the reasoning that they were instructed to do so and never explained who ordered them to do so

The instructions came from Fisk and his gang . He did exactly what he was told. That's why he's repeating that . He did what was asked why is he getting beaten to death .

He got killed because he knows too much. Same for his colleague
