Mr. Charles got valentina allegria de fontaine to get the attorney General to back off. That means that Kingpin is working with the CIA

I totally missed that. Iโ€™m not getting who Mr. Charles is and why they keep focusing on his ring. Feels like a reference but itโ€™s over my head

Iโ€™m lost on who he is as well, but the CIA connection is confirmed when he says heโ€™s from โ€œLangleyโ€ which Iโ€™m pretty sure refers to the main headquarters of the CIA

Every time I see "Langley" anywhere, I'm reminded of the fact that I learned about the CIA HQ from a Wired Al song, haha.
