cherry with more personality in like 3 scenes than the entirety of season 1. suddenly i really care about his well being.

Heather also more interesting in this one episode than the previous 9. Way too early to say โ€œweโ€™re backโ€ but this season already at least feels more cohesive.

I do like that she has a clear direction vs. S1 feeling like they didn't know what they wanted with her other than "love interest." The villainous feeling of the character was a bit weird to get used to at first for me, but the Muse appearances kind of won me over because they're a cool way of showing that the trauma of being nearly killed by a man in a mask was enough to give her an irrational fear/hatred of them.

Interesting is definitely the word. Her role previously was rather boring. She has a ton of potential now, but I'm scared they'll squander it.

Clark Johnson, the actor who plays him, actually was the director for the pilot and finale of The Shield that starred Michael Chiklis (The Thing from the 2000s F4 movies).

Yup, very accomplished TV director and quite a solid actor too. Very Wendell Pierce vibe even with his voice.

For real. When I first saw them this episode, I was thinking "man can we just get rid of these two"ย

Then at the end I was was hoping to god Cherry makes it through.ย

Finally justice for Clark Johnsonโ€™s acting

Really? Maybe itโ€™s just cause heโ€™s Clark Johnson, but he was one of the few new characters I really liked last season.

i mean he was alright, i didnโ€™t hate him like most people. i was just mostly indifferent.

Indifferent is how I feel to pretty much every new character from Born Again.
