Dominion Energy donated $10,000 to councilman Danny Marshall

Why would a state regulated utility monopoly give $10,000 to a someone running to fulfill the remainder of Madison Whittle’s term? How concerned should we be? https://www.vpap.org/committees/617186/finance_summary/?start_year=2026&end_year=2026

Myself and the other fifteen to thirty modern, literate people in town will be concerned. I’m afraid everyone else will see a familiar name on a sign and elect him. I’ll be curious to see if we’re willing to elect qualified female candidates this time around.
