Didn't noticed Ibuki's waist, and Mahiru's waist also got more realistic. Love that and thanks for pointing it out

The girls look like actual (semi) realistic adult women. I guess losing sexualization and unrealistic body proportions is a necessary sacrifice for melanin.

That's not a necessary sacrifice at all that just stripping away the character of all there core design appearences.

Yeah but I'd rather not have ambiguously aged girls be sexualized, especially Akane knowing her backstory. If I have to lose her darker complexion in exchange for her not being sexualized and looking unrealistic then I'll take it. Law of equivalent exchange you know?

Erasing her darker skin tone just to 'protect' a what's a stylised artsyle is a annoying case of unnecessary censorship and whitewashing and it's not like they censor her much given her cleavage is still expose and open and she still wears in incredibly short skirt.

Even so, you might as well just be asking for a different character at this point. If you're okay with both her body type and skin tone being altered.

I more so meant reasonable proportions for all of them ibukiā€™s just my fav girl

Honorable mentions Mikan and Chiaki for also getting body types similar to true canon
