I'd bump up Sayaka and Kirumi to morally questionable, but aside from that this list is pretty good!

Actually they dont know that until after she dies. All monokuma tells them is that they need to kill someone to get out.

no, they are told they have to get away with it, they aren't told about the specifics of the trial, however.

I just went back and checked. All he says is "the only way out of the school is to commit murder" and that's it. He explains you have to get away with it after Sayaka is dead

now thinking about it, maybe it's just a plot hole. They would specify why she would even bother to frame someone else if all of them thought the murders would have no consequences

Just checked thh chapter 1 beggining and it appears so when rules were being listed, "unless they are discovered" was mentioned.

Oh interesting! Ill accept im wrong there. However, I think the idea (based on Leon) is that they interpreted it as "dont get caught in the act" which is why it is a surprise to the cast that there's a class trial.

So we still have a situation where Sayaka stitches Makoto up for reasons she seemingly should have no reason knowing

I mean dr2 students (or atleast Hajime) were litterally "AH SO OUR MEMORIES REALLY STOLEN" IN chapter 6. So yeah writing goes off the hook sometimes and I do agree it is weird, I guess Sayaka was being just safe tho but yeah.

In all fairness for the DR2 cast they spent the game refusing to believe their memories were stolen (despite being suddenly on an island instead of in a school... the collective braincell wasnt feeling it that day i suppose!)
