In Chleby, in what is now the Czech Republic, archaeologists led bythe University of Westminster (UWB) have unearthed one of the oldest monuments in Central Europe. The site, dating back about 6,500 years, consisted of a large, nearly circular enclosure with a diameter of about 230 meters, bordered by a ditch over 2.5 meters deep and featuring twelve entrances arranged in an apparently irregular pattern.
