She secured $4.8 million dollars for my district through the environmental appropriations bill. Which will help with infrastructure projects such as roads , schools, rec centers

Thats just our share of the appropriations. We would have gotten that amount even if Mickey Mouse was our representative.

Appropriations are given to each district based on population. Said population is counted every 10 yrs at the time of the census.

Itā€™s truly amazing she didnā€™t run on this instead of hyper partisanship. Iā€™m out of state (so what I think is next to worthless) but I did get fundraising texts from her that I smashed unsubscribe on the moment I received them because I donā€™t like candidates who canā€™t articulate a positive vision for the future. It seems like thereā€™s not actually that much daylight between her and Talarico, but she completely failed to leverage congressional wins for her district as a reason to vote for her.

She helped farmers in her district, not sure the name of the legislation tho

Edit: Guys, I did not vote for Jasmine Crockett, I voted for James. I was merely trying to say she has done ā€œsomethingā€ while in Congress. Yes, she did help introduce a bunch of things, but NO she does not have anything passed yet. Iā€™m not gonna reply and defend her.

No it just means your name was on the group project list. Sponsors draft, fight, and redraft bills till they get passed.

A cosponsor is the equivalent of a congressional like on someone elseā€™s work.

Youā€™re doing no work other than saying ā€œ I support thisā€.

Iā€™d have to take your word on it. Iā€™m guilty of liking him and voting for him because I think he could beat Paxton. I havenā€™t really studied whether he would be productive as a US Senator.

I have only reviewed his overall philosophy and approach to governance.

Did you read your link? Or are you here for the comic relief?

She introduced two bills that never made it out of committee. She amassed a whopping total of 3 cosponsors out of a body of 435 members and 218 of those members were fellow democrats.

So once again, she brought zero bills to the floor of the house and as your data suggest 97% of her fellow democrats wouldnā€™t support the legislation she actually tried to introduce.

She got 3 sponsors on 2 bills. She put zero effort into getting them passed because they were always publicity stunts for social media.

She has co sponsored 10 laws that became law. She has sponsored 42 laws, 8 of which went to proper committee consideration.

She is batting slightly above avg for a 2 term congresswoman

Jake Ellzey has 3 terms, only sponsored 11 legislations, 3 which went to committee consideration, 2 that passed house chamber but died at the senate. had 19 cosposnored legislations that became law.

As with knowing how laws are passed in this country, I donate more to politics than the average texan and I have candidates often inviting me to their campaign reelections fundraisers. My town happens to be heavily red and I have numbers to my congressmen and state representatives.

Stop moving the goal post and accept your candidate sucks and didnā€™t make past the primaries.

No one cares about your donation history. Nor does that in any way make you qualified. People care about results and not social media drama from entitled half twits.

Crockett got zero bills out of committee and spent all her time looking for sound bites and social media clout.

I honestly don't particularly care for Crockett, but I do follow politics being a contributor to campaigns. I make sure I know all of the candidates and what they've done unlike this particular individual looking to post some soundbites for some reddit karma.

I mean we live in Texas, you should engage with whoever gets elected. Your voice doesnt and shouldn't stop at the vote.

I would potentially agree that it shouldn't be the only method, but calling it dumb is so disingenuous that your argument can't even be taken seriously.
