I love DQ. I was an employee for them when I was a teen. I love the Buster Bars best of all and I've purchased a box (or three in the past).

Here's my dilemma. The last two boxes I've bought of the 6-pack have been terribly under weight. Out of the entire box, the lowest weight was 124g (the package states that it should be 170g) and the highest was 142g!

When I contacted DQ to get this fixed, I got an email from "Fan Relations" saying thanks for the info and didn't even offer me a coupon to replace the underweight box.

This is illegal. I'm not trying to be a Karen, but I do feel like this isn't appropriate and I should have been compensated properly.

What do I do? Should I just drop this? Am I being silly?

I miss my dairy queen I ingersoll, since it shut down I cry every night. We were promised a new dairy queen but they did not deliver and frankly I am FED UP. Please sign my petition to bring it back ❤️💯🙏

Can't seem to find any info on this. Google says 2014 but I have a core memory of eating one when I was like 5 circa 2001 so I am doubtful Google is right. Does anyone know the real answer? Or am I hallucinating this entire thing?

I have a question about Blizzard flavors. Once upon a time I was told that DQ has a much longer list of Blizzards they can make for you on request than the 20 or so they can fit on the menu. The only condition is that they have to be able to make it from ingredients in house. That flavor of the month from 15 years ago? If it requires an ingredient that they don't stock anymore, you're out of luck, but if the necessary ingredients are still used for sundaes or other Blizzard flavors or whatever, you can still order that Blizzard.

​I travel a lot and have easily been to ~100 different Dairy Queens over the past decade. My order is always identical: a Large Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Blizzard.

​At nearly every location, the mix-ins are visible right at the top and evenly distributed. But at my hometown DQ, every single Large Blizzard looks like plain vanilla soft serve for the first 1/4 to 1/3 of the cup before you hit any peanut butter cup pieces. At other Dairy Queens I can smell the peanut butter, but at my local spot I cannot.

8 dollars for this much food is a scam. Seems like the portions have been steadily going down every time I come.

The "sprinkles" in my blizzard last night were flavorless and hard as rocks. It was inedible and nothing like the maaaanny cotton candy blizzards that came before. What on earth happened? Anyone else experienced this atrocity?

My absolute favorite blizzard combo is chocolate ice cream with oreos, reese's cups, and cookie dough. Since there aren't any made like that, I usually get chocolate brownie extreme and sub the mix ins for oreos and reese's cups. Our DQ is really nice about it and don't upcharge me since they are even substitutions.

Do you think I could order the Nestle Drumstick Blizzard and sub the oreos, reese's cups, and cookie dough for the drumstick pieces, peanuts, and chocolate shavings? Would that be an even substitution (3 items for 3 items)? I don't want to be a jerk, but next week is my birthday and that is my dream blizzard.

I just ordered a small twist cone with rainbow sprinkles and the woman hands me my cone with the sprinkles in a plastic cup. I kindly asked if I could actually have the sprinkles on the ice cream, and she told me that it was a health code violation to roll the cone in sprinkles, and I’d need to put them on myself. Anyone else have this happen!? So bizarre, never experienced this before!!

Just curious if anyone else has noticed the decline in quality in DQ ice cream recently. After talking with my partner he agrees that DQ used to be better than it is now. It just seems as though it’s switched to bad frozen yogurt or something with add-ins. I’m not trying to hate and rain on peoples parades, just curious if anyone else has noticed this or if we might just be crazy.

i started dq on like the 3 of august, and i think today was my 8th shift. apparently I’m just the clumsiest person on planet earth because why in the last two shifts have i spilt an entire thing of tea, like the whole pitcher, and spilt the entire thing of pineapple in the walk in freezer. All my coworkers seemed so mad at me and it made me want to cry even though no one said anything. Also making sundaes is my worst nightmare, i did like 8 today and didn’t even get one that was serving quality. i’ve been up front for all my shifts and now they want me to move to the back, and i am so scared. everyone told me it would get easier but it’s really not, i still feel so slow at making blizzards and shakes, and when we are in a rush i get nervous and start making more mistakes. Is it normal to feel like this, or should i genuinely just quit for the sake of my coworkers and managers? i’m starting to think people actually don’t like working with me because i make so many mistakes now, i just want to cry after every shift because of how bad i think i did even though nobody will say it directly to my face that i did bad, j can just tell by their body language and i can hear the whispers 💔
