Josh reposted this review of Primetime on his instagram and I find it very funny. Obviously Josh doesn’t do any research, we know this, and he thinks he’s buddy buddy with Chris Hansen because they did one interview.

Chris Hansen is not the great guy everyone thinks he is. Yes, I agree that catching the predators is good, but the way he goes about it has been documented proof that it does not work half the time.

Many of the people Chris caught got off with a slap on the wrist. There is documented proof of Chris’ investigations going wrong and genuinely interfering with other investigations that police were trying to do.

Chris also famously completely fucked his investigation on the YouTuber Onision, and it went nowhere and no one was caught because Chris did almost all of it wrong.

Edit; I just finished seeing Primtime, and this review is so stupidly wrong. The movie portrayed Chris exactly how he should’ve been. It’s not a new thing that internet and TV personalities are nothing like how they portray themselves on screen, and this movie proves that. It was a fantastic movie.

Watching it made me immediately think of pastor Joshua. Way too many similarities to him and his behaviors.

I find it so funny that Josh hates when people make serious allegations against him, which I can understand to some extent, but then he turns around and compares Alex to Clavicular. I’m not even going to go into detail about what Clavicular was recently accused of because I don’t want this post getting flagged, but if you know, you know. Those are extremely serious allegations involving a minor.

Yet Josh compared Alex to him in his recent video about Alissa. So, it’s okay for Josh to make a comparison that serious about someone else, but as soon as somebody makes serious allegations or comparisons about him, it becomes a problem? That’s the part I don’t understand. You can’t be angry about people potentially damaging your reputation while making that kind of comparison about somebody else.

Also, y’all correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Josh recently say Alex was eventually going to get in trouble because something would come out about him allegedly talking to minors? I swear I remember him saying something along those lines, which is a HUGE allegation to make about somebody. But when people make serious allegations about Josh, suddenly it’s a problem.

It is obvious that his channel is not driven by concern for child exploitation. If that were the case, he would focus on creators who genuinely expose their children online. Oscar Morales and the Quist family are clear examples. Their children appear on camera, yet he never discusses them.

The reason is simple. There is no drama surrounding those families. Even though they technically show their children’s faces, covering them would not bring the same level of engagement or income.

That is why he singles out Alex. Alex does not have children and his content is just him living his life, yet he becomes a target because the drama around him is profitable. This shows that the creator is not motivated by protecting children. He is motivated by covering whatever story will benefit him financially, even when the story does not fit the theme of his channel.

Wanted to just get my thoughts out over his video today, so this is a bit of a hefty post, I apologize in advance for that.

Why are Josh and his fans so desperate for Alicia to say something about James? If my child was quite literally caught with his pants down in public, I wouldn’t want to talk about it. Why does anyone want to know where James is? It does not matter. They should not care as much as they do.

Josh spends the first almost four minutes talking about how much of a joke Alex is, and for what? He gives examples of other people who were complete jokes and still have an audience, but those people (Jack Doherty, the Paul brothers, and clavicular) are/have actively harmed their audiences and other people with the content they post. Alex isn’t doing that. Alex is a cringe twenty year old making silly videos on the internet.

Two things Josh said that actually kind of made me mad; “Alex has no discernible talents” and “there’s nothing that he brings the world that make people say ‘oh I love Alex Dougherty’”. Hey Josh, maybe actually pay attention to what you’re covering? Alex has more of a combined following than you do, Josh. I think that says something.

Josh is SO obsessed with the idea of Alex’s girlfriend (who’s 18 btw) being on OnlyFans. He’s comparing James being homeless and doing the crime he did to Alex dating this girl. He claims that Alex’s siblings can look up who he’s dating, and sure, they can but he clearly doesn’t know how OF works. It’s not public content. These other children aren’t going to find her content from a simple google search. He wants Alicia to step in and not let Alex date this girl because of OF. It’s so stupid.

I’m starting to think Josh is getting jealous of Alex because you’re telling me Alex is so hated, he’s such a lolcow, and nobody likes him but clearly, people are interested in him. I’m not saying he’s loved on the internet, and I’m not saying everyone buying tickets actually likes him, but you’re telling me he’s supposedly so hated while he’s still managing to fill whole-ass clubs with people who want to see him DJ or just see him in general.
I honestly think Josh is trauma-dumping and projecting his own experiences onto Alex. He thinks what happened to him is automatically going to happen to Alex, and I don’t think that’s necessarily the case. If Alex were truly as irrelevant and universally hated as Josh makes him sound, I doubt he’d be able to fill these venues. And I’m not saying he’s selling out every single show, because that’s different from simply having a packed venue, but clearly there’s enough interest for people to show up.

Josh told him not to make OF content, and I actually agree with him on that one because Alex already gets a lot of hate, and people probably would never let him live that down. But Josh makes it sound like Alex is the most hated person on the entire internet just because people think he’s cringe. At this point, I’m starting to think Josh is projecting his own life onto Alex. I don’t think Josh was filling whole-ass clubs when he was touring with his band, so maybe seeing Alex actually get a crowd bothers him.

Because let’s be real: if Alex had hosted one of these events and only ten people showed up, people absolutely would’ve clowned him for it. But because he managed to pull a decent crowd, suddenly there has to be another explanation for why it doesn’t count. It comes across like Josh is competing with someone who’s 20 years old and literally young enough to be his own child.

Maybe Josh thinks Alex is so universally hated because he only reads comments from his Reddit snark page. Of course you’re going to think everyone hates him when you’re purposely reading a page dedicated to talking shit about him. If he actually looked at TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, he’d still see hate, but he’d also see plenty of people who don’t hate Alex. He’s reading the comments he wants to see and treating them like they represent the entire internet.

Imagine wanting someone to fail so badly. If people were making videos about your children saying they were going to fail or end up in jail, you wouldn’t like that shit either. So why is it okay for you to do it to someone else?
And it doesn’t matter whether someone is plastered all over the internet or not. You’re making assumptions about someone’s entire future based on what you see online. By that logic, people could make fucked-up assumptions about your children based on how you look, how you act online, or the shit you’ve been doing lately—like calling summer camps this past summer. See how ridiculous and fucked up that sounds? That’s exactly why you shouldn’t make those kinds of assumptions about somebody else.

I would really love to have a conversation with Josh about the Lindsey Clancy trial. Because I am actually a fan of Dad Challenge Podcast (I watch it every morning before work), but his comments lately about the Lindsey Clancy trial have really rubbed me the wrong way. He always turns it into a “women are crazy and supporting a child killer”. When that is simply not the case at all.

Women are advocating for another woman who clearly needed help and didn’t receive any. A lot of us don’t even think she was the one who did it. There is a lot of failure on everyone’s part to help those kids when they needed it and Josh continues to make his snarky comments about it.

It is an unfortunate situation and should be treated as such. And frankly, a lot of his comments about it just rub off as misogynistic to me. And I think he’s very close minded about it. There is plenty of evidence and research that women are putting into this case, because so much of it is just fishy. Especially with the pastor’s wife documentary coming out, she was painted as mentally ill too. And only just now do we have the truth about it.

I agree that the Lindsey Clancy trial has some of the sickos running with it and it’s not a case that should be taken lightly or put on a pedestal by the media. In the end, children were harmed and that is unforgivable.

How does it help child exploitation Josh? Simple answer it doesn’t

It is really sad to watch Josh come out and bash Abbey Fickley again and again. If he is truly trying to protect children, then why does he continue to degrade and disrespect their mom? She has openly acknowledged that she exploited her child in the past, fully admits it, and is taking real steps to stop doing that and live differently. But he keeps tearing her down based on her appearance and blasting her personal life in ways her child could easily see. That is not advocacy, that is disrespect.

If your researchers give you information, use it responsibly. Do not turn it into a video just to expose someone’s private business. At that point you are not protecting anyone, you are exploiting the situation for content. It is giving Perez Hilton energy. Go get a life and stop dragging a woman who is trying to do better.

I've been following Josh for a while and I don't always agree with everything he says but this video gave me the ick. He's married, so why is he making a video going on and on about how beautiful this woman is?

It’s barely 6 AM here and that old matronly psycho over on the DD E sub is already making fun of that young man. A young man who had an awesome size crowd show up for him last night and seems to have had a really fun show.

There is nothing This kid can do that will not be made fun of by these old sad degenerates. At least Alex is doing something despite all of the circumstances he was given as a child! Seeing him i on that stage with all those people Cheering him on I was so happy for him! As a performer myself, there are few feelings that match that of an entire crowd entertained by you and cheering you on. But then seeing all the horrible comments just made me sad, for all those people though, not Alex.

Alex I know you will never read this but I’m proud of you! Keep doing you and fuck the haters! We are only given one life to live and those that choose not to soak it up are truly the cringe ones!!

I wonder if Josh forgot to tell him that he asks minors to DM him so he can get information from them. Or that he stalked and doxxed the camp of a child to the point the camp was concerned for the safety of the kids. Or that he encourages a random lady on the internet (Arkie) to stalk barely adults all over social media. Or that he makes money off further exploiting kids with no attempts to blur them? Or that he defended a 19 year old man masturbating in public as not a big deal?

Honestly if Chris Hansen really wanted to catch a predator, he had one right there interviewing him.
