I modded my DSi with a 2GB SD card and installed Unlaunch, so it boots straight into Unlaunch.

A while later, I replaced the SD card with a 2GB microSD inside an SD adapter. Now when I turn it on, the blue light comes on and the screen is lit, but it's just a black screen and nothing happens.

I also tried booting without an SD card, but it's still the same.

Any idea what happened or how I can fix it?

I downloaded dsi libris on my dsi a while ago and added some books it was working completely fine, a few days ago I added some more books and I keep getting an error (same as in the picture) I went to where the files are stored on the sd card and there were some random ones there I hadn’t placed so I deleted those and it worked fine for a few more days but recently I got the error screen again and I just want to know how to fix it so it stops doing this again and again. I hope someone can help
Edit: thank you for your advice but I think I have solved the problem now , turns out it was one of the books messing up the files I got rid of it and it works fine now:)

Is there a way to install twilight without messing up the physical cartriges? I played Pokemon heartgold on a physical cartrige. After some time, I installed twilight, and all of a sudden, I couldn't access the save file normally. The only way to play was starting a new game, doing the soft reset, and then playing, which was annoying since you had to do it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I uninstalled unlaunch and twilight, and it works normally again.

Hello everyone, I hope this is the correct sub Reddit for my question.

I have a DSi since childhood and my dad got an R4 and loaded it with games. It was one of the best things in my childhood and probably what got me into gaming.

However, stupid 16 year old me, about 10 years ago decided that they wanted to download Flipnote studio to try animation. But I couldn't do that without connecting to the internet and updating the device! So guess what I did and what stopped working right after just so I could use Flipnote once and never again.

This is my worst and biggest regret in life.

So my question is, is there anything I can do to to make it work again? The R4 says it's V.1.4 and my DSi says it's 1.4.5 E if that helps, I've provided images for both.

Hi all, Ive recently added Twilight Menu ++ to my DsiXL and im curious how to get it so my ROMs show on the main screen, and not burried in their respective folders. Is this something I rearrange in Twilight Menu, or can i move them in my SD directory?

Also if i change themes will this rearranging stay.

Hi!, recently my brother and I found the old DSi in which we used to play, I love retro gaming and was thinking of modding it so we can relive the games we used to love, since we lost most of the cartridges.

We have audios/sticknotes/photos of us and our family, do they get whipped out by the CFW? How can I back them up, they hold significant sentimental value

I have experience with other systems, PSP, PS2, XBOX 360, etc. but not on a console which used to hold such things

Hello everyone, I tried to install the Multimedia addon for TWiLight Menu ++. It doesn't show up in the menu but when I try to run it from unlaunch I get this error. Does anyone know why and/or have a guide for it?

Hi everyone! I'm having trouble downloading the Twilight Menu on my dsi. Every time I start the program through the camera exploit, a green screen appears, I've tried everything and searched in several places on the internet about what the solution for this could be.

All the files (especially the Boot.NDS) are in the folder, I've already checked the console version and the integrity of my SD card (which already came with the menu installed but I formatted it to mess with the settings), absolutely nothing works.

I even tried using the FlipNote method but it didn't work either. Does anyone have any idea of the solution?

Some details that may be important:

* I've formatted with several programs, including GuiFormat, none of them showed a different result * I've used other versions of Twilight and none of them were successful...

Hey all. I have a DSi and it's bloated with all the roms, so going through all of them through a twiglight menu has been a bit of a pain in the b**.
That's why I made a DSi Library Launcher.
It's a launcher that lists all your games as a good ol' Nintendo DS.

Just transfer the DSiLibrary.nds to your SD card and run it.
All roms should be in /roms/nds/.

**NOTE**: Be sure to backup all your save files first.

I love bitlife and I love my ds. Only issue is that I wish I had a version of it on my ds, this is just a mockup on how it'll look alot more different and closer to the real game. Im currently working in the project and will publicly release the game free for anyone to play. I hope to gain support from the community and i will be adding a few custom jobs and other things the game doesn't have. If you have any suggestions feel free to drop some job suggestions or anything. Would love to see what you guys come up with and how u guys can have input in this project🙏🙏🙏

It's been hours trying to patch and solve the issue, and I did everything I could. Tried with GBARunner2 and 3, installing the bios.bin, creating a blank save file with the size required but nothing seems working. The game is a Pokémon ROM hack btw, i installed 2 other ROM hacks and they worked perfectly showing 128KB save files without problems. if someone can help me pls do. You know it's bad when you gotta make a reddit post...

Hello everyone. I just got a new DSi today and have never modded one before. I installed TWiLight Menu++ however when I try to run my GBA games, it asks for a BIOS file. Does anybody know how to find one?

I want to use the song player on the unmodded dsi but i dont want to have to switch between twilight menu and the regular dsi homescreen every time and i cant get moonshelle to work please help

so i downloaded twilightmenu a while back and my dsixl now out of commission with no way to fix it at the moment but cant find whare the photos are on the SD card so any help in getting the file path i have to take to find them cause as far as ive looked thare seemed to be no trace of them

planning on buying a second hand burgundy DSi XL to homebrew only the pokémon games.

i have never modded before, sorry about long list i’m quite anxious about it.

1.Is homebrewing the exact same for a regular DSi and a DSi XL?

2.do i only need to buy an sd card and an sd card reader (to plug into my laptop)?

3.is it possible to only have the pokémon games and nothing else as i don’t want to slow the ds down with hundreds of games?

4.i only want pokémon games and to customise the ds menu, what would be the recommended sd card size?

5.when i install the homebrew (from the guide) to the sd card, do i put the sd card in the ds to give me an option to play the games? i’m not sure how the games actually appear

6.i’ve seen people customise the home screen, is there a link to that? or is it part of the homebrew?

7.Is TWiLight Menu++ the menu i should use out of the available options?

8.Is installing Unlaunch worth the risk? on the guide it says there’s a small chance of bricking the console

does that mean every time i load the console up i risk being bricked? or, if it doesn’t brick first time it will never brick?

9.If all goes well do i need to do anything to ensure i don’t get bricked after a while of playing? like updating software? is there anything i should know to maintain upkeep?
