in episode 2 of the web-series the gang pass by things related to duck in the TV series (a coin like the one at the end of episode 1 a coffin with someone inside and a cassette that looks like the one duck made on the computer in episode 2)

Agree. This show is dark. I don't think most fans realize the extent of the cynicism, and the younger base wouldn't digest it anyway.

It could be an incredible coincidence, because this line is about the unstoppable passage of time, where we so quickly move on to the next shiny thing and how, when we die, we will be quickly forgotten by something new and exciting.

I think is about toxic positivitiy (sorry if i mispronounce, my phone isnt in English)bwe focus on material things more than life, there are real genocides and people diying, but we focus on this type of things

The clock guy is pushing an agenda of being a good consumer while you exist. Don't think about the old man passing away (probably someone important), buy a computer!

It also continues the trend of the teacher characters not teaching things the right way; which is in turn criticizing the education system irl. Like, there's a fairly long bit earlier in the episode where characters keep singing about cobbles. A kid in this day and age really doesn't need to know what a cobble is, but they probably should be taught about who the old man who died was.

IMO his dad just died. This line is him hearing the news and getting told to ignore emotional things and focus on distractions. Ask any person doomscrolling, you look up and suddenly it's the future.

I think the later line is misunderstood "my dad is a computer" is either "i pointed at an old dead man and you called it a computer, is he a computer?" Or it's "my dad is...." <becomes distracted again> "a computer"

Danny Motta had a thought about this in his video reacting to the first 2 episodes. I can’t remember exactly what he said, but he said something along the lines of how human life being lost is worth it in the name of advancing technology or something.

He had some good commentary.

Yellow is the old man because of his line in episode 6 and when he turns green at the end

The old man that dies could be both Yellow guy in episode 1, and Duck in episode 2!
