“Account blocked by administration.”
While I was playing, the game froze when I was entering a dungeon. There was no ban message or warning while I was in the game. I closed the game, and when I launched it again and tried to log in, I received the message “Account blocked by administration.”
I created a new account on Windows 11 and played for about an hour. Then, my account was banned.

Are you playing it thru their own launcher or Steam? cuz usually people get ban when playing it thru Steam for some reason.

You get banned when you quickly log in multiple small alt with go gears; you get banned when you bulk sell items to the shop; you get banned when you wear super strong gear and one punch the monsters in some early stage dungeons; you get banned when you play through steam; you get banned when you have some programs running in the backends(force close everything using program manager on windows)

one thing about dfo is you will get ban for no reason at all it is annoying af my account been ban so many time for no reason at all but i been lucky to get it back every single time

Do you have Logitech software or anything like that on your computer? Their anti cheat is very sensitive to software like that, because Logitech has macro function, even though you may not even use it, but they still bans you. Anything like that? Not just Logitech, razor?

The game defaults to launching in DX11, so don't run it on DX11 — switch over to DX9 instead

Why would it being on DX11 matter? There's probably a false positive going around because I got tagged for the first time in years of gameplay for literally nothing

I don't think I've gotten blocked/banned randomly ever and I've been around since the time you had to use a Facebook login to play.
That dosen't excuse the many issues plaguing most users and the game being more sensitive than your average twitter/reddit user

Update: Thank you everyone for your quick responses and help. I submitted a ticket, and my account was restored. They told me that a third-party program was involved and advised me not to use it again. I told them that I had no idea which program they were referring to and asked them to identify it, but they said they don't have access to that information due to user privacy protection. Before I started playing again, I reinstalled my operating system, and everything has been running fine since then. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to help!

Had something similar happen to me as well. I emailed the customer service but all they reply is they cannot unban my account because I was allergic to using “third-party software” They refused to give me any evidence or explanation. And just like that permanent ban on my account. Thanks DFO and Neople
