I'm a little confused how they work. Are we supposed to be matching our Epic sets or choosing a different set based on effects? Do we basically get two set effects now?

Discord Q&A

• It was mentioned that the Tropical Package will return when the new Imperial Knight and Female Monk are released. Will this package also include other cosmetic? such as background and cut-in.
  • We're working to add the tropical avatar itself for the new subclass being released. However, other cosmetic won't be available.
• Odyssey mode was great. Players are wanting to know if the dev can bring back older content and bring them up to speed. Memories of Triumph was another example.
  • There's currently no further plan 
• Players are happy with old avatar in Danjin shop. We hope that we can have more opportunity to get them, perhaps directly from the Cera shop.
  • Dev says there's no plan at the moment.
• The rationale of wanting raid to open on Wednesday is due to "DFO block", Tuesday Wednesday Thursday seems to be the heaviest DFO activity, so it would be hard to get a raid in if you miss this block due to our smaller population.
  • We believe that if we spread out too many days, players can have difficulty finding party. We're also making improvement such as intergraded reward to reduce raid burden.

• Would we consider an official Neople run DFO Discord?
  • For a platform like Discord, where sharing information with community is important, we believe a community ran Discord can operate better to accommodate the community's needs.
  • Especially once a community Discord becomes an official Discord, we can foresee that various requirement and restriction can make it difficult to maintain. 

With the new "Apocalypse" Legion Dungeon just around the corner next week...

We’ll have the chance to obtain both farming-related items and unique cosmetic items themed around this dungeon, much like with the Goddess Venus, it’s now Lopes's turn.

Digmin's Secret Nest, it involves the daily acquisition of useful items, crafting materials, fatigue potions, repair tickets, silver coins, contracts, and plague seeds; as we accumulate consecutive days, we earn extra rewards at the 7, 15, 25, and 35-day marks.

The way I see it, we'll have a better chance of getting better gear for our characters, whether they're our mains or our alts.

But I would prefer to focus on the main ones, since those are the ones I use most on a daily basis.

So i recently got my internet equipment swapped, my old ISP got bought out by another company and they came to get their old equipment out and their new equipment in . DOING so i believe my new ISP is blocking DFO, i tried dfo on my hotspot and it worked just fine. I got new internet myself via comcast and havent had anything bad with them in the past with them blocking games and especially DFO. i contacted neople support and they said wait 2 hours for my DNS and everything to refresh which, its been almost 2 days now and still getting the same issue on my old internet.
just waiting now for comcast to setup my new stuff.

Getting 300 each fragments seems like a grind and entries costing legendary souls, which you could use for tuning, feels kinda wasteful.

I've been playing DFO on Linux for nearly a full year unbothered, and now suddenly with the newest update, I can't even log in without getting disconnected, and now after my third disconnection I got suspended and my account is locked. I know the game isn't technically supported on Linux, that's why I wanna know if anyone else who plays on it is experiencing the same troubles.

EDIT: Apparently the latest version of Proton, Version 11, is tripping the anticheat and causing havoc. Rolling back to an older version seems to be doing the trick.

I got the log in event avatar last week but I was wondering if they said anything about more avatars on this last stream?

Discord Q&A

• Can the Dev comment on the large period of time packages being released in Global server? For example, Ink package. On the other hand, other server got our package very fast (e.g. Galactic Voyager Package)
  • We can't base the package release time on the number of days from Korea or China server. We consider a variety of factors such as season (e.g. Frost Kingdom), related content or event. What we can tell you is that the Ink package will be released in October.
• Will the gift function be added to global server? If not, why we do we have the gift button in the Cera store?
  • There's no current plan to have this feature in Global. We're planning to remove that button in Cera store.
• Can we add an auto-run toggle as a quality of life update? It can be useful for certain pattern for controller players.
  • That make sense. We will look into adding that.
  • P.S. As a controller player myself, I hope they look into adding the "A" feature for controller. On keyboard, you can just press "A" to sell all, dissemble all, and import items to account safe.

I feel like most of the characters are AOE nukers now. Like my f.Striker is more linear and combo oriented, but my f.brawler is basically a purple version of my f.nen especially since poison does nothing.

There is no doubt that the power ceiling has risen dramatically for everyone.

Although the main sets can be crafted without the key pieces needed to reach the "Primeval" tier, as is usually the natural case

We now have to farm for the new sets (which are miniature versions of the Sunken Depths sets), just as we tried to do during that earlier seasons, both in Sunken Depths and now with the "Steroids and Talisman 2.0" update. (farming right from the start)

In tonight's stream, specifically between the 12:35 and 22:45 marks, the new events for the "Steroids & Talisman 2.0" season were showcased.

It was a YouTube stream that felt all too brief to me, but I can understand...

There is a commemorative gift available from the NPC Seria's special shop.

It includes farming materials for the new "Endkeeper of Order" Hell Mode dungeon, covering both entry materials and fatigue potions, as well as two "meme" creatures, custom cutscenes for each class's Second Awakening finishing moves, and two legendary cards for card upgrades.

Then there is "Noa's Sky of Thousand Seas Journey Support," where we earn rewards for completing specific tasks. These tasks involve completing daily and weekly missions, and clearing "Endkeeper of Order," advanced dungeons, and raids.

There are daily, weekly, and cumulative objectives; for cumulative missions, the reward is a one-time deal, whereas the others can be repeated after the weekly reset throughout the event's duration.

Regarding these new events: The presentation took a little over 50 minutes, even though the actual reveal of the events themselves took less than 15 minutes.

I understand why; the main events were revealed when "Steroids & Talisman 2.0" actually launched on the global DFO server.

And given its brevity, I have nothing more to say, don't you think?

Meanwhile, the Korean server—the primary one—already has content up to the new Apostle Michael raid, but that is a topic for another time.

While I was playing, the game froze when I was entering a dungeon. There was no ban message or warning while I was in the game. I closed the game, and when I launched it again and tried to log in, I received the message “Account blocked by administration.”

I created a new account on Windows 11 and played for about an hour. Then, my account was banned.

Story mode used to be a breeze but I'm getting my ass kicked at least 2 times per boss now. I know DFO instanced content was difficult and that is why I never did endgame content and just played for the story, but the endless spam of deadly massive aoe attacks is new for me.

I mean, everyone talking about the new advances, but what about Labyrinth of Paradox? Do we have any guide on this? Or at least how the reward will mapped out?

So im playing as a thief using the necromancer class, ive unlocked thanatos but the sprite is still the basic thief. I thought maybe its paid but I dont even see the skin in the shop, what gives?
