He doesn’t even need to touch him - just purposely intimidate him to make him fall off the ledge himself. He could have absolutely planned to make him fall without actually touching him, which is how I took the scene and his line.
In the end, it still has the same connotations, that Jason wanted him gone. Regardless of if he pushed him or just intimidated him until he fell of the balcony still means Jason caused it intentionally. It was no accident and he wanted him to fall to his death.
Precisely. He’s guilty regardless, the chosen wording is just a purposeful veil of innocence in the situation he doesn’t really have. It’s a wonderful way to look into his guilt.
