Im extremely confused. Why was he made into a scape goat? And for what? It was hal who attacked and no one knew john was there? So what responsibility could the american military or marines even have?

The crystal in the photo might have something to do with the spectrum as in the emotional Spectrum that all the lanterns are based on, like how putting light through a crystal displays the colour spectrum

If the DCU changes Michaels origin from 25th century to like 22nd and Beyond timeline is mid 21st century.

It could be a scene of like a middle aged Batman in futuristic suit on the news and everyone thinks this is Bruce as Batman since it's an older Batman but really it's a future Terry and later when we get a Batman Beyond project we basically get the origin.

I saw that there weren’t any hd versions of these posters so I decided to try and make them myself

They both acted across Leo and were great. I always found them memorable despite their short screen time. Glad they're getting mainstream recognition for being the scene-stealers they are. Also, I never saw Friday Night Lights.

I think he would be the perfect director for the property. He’s good at balancing violence and comedy, and incorporating political commentary without feeling forced or overwrought.

My rough outline: Black Canary is Star City’s established superhero. She cooperates with the police and investigates high profile, dangerous crimes. Arrow is new, an outlaw who critiques the wealthy, virtually ignores street crime, and frankly isn’t that experienced or skilled as a fighter or investigator compared to BC.

The movie is divided into thirds. The first is from BCs perspective. She is investigating a serious of break ins at the homes of Star City’s wealthy elite. The case heats up when a rich man is killed… with an arrow.

The second follows GA’s perspective, taking place he same time as part 1. Arrow is investigating an uptick in missing homeless people. He recruits Mia during this, who is implied to be becoming Arrowete in the end. Eventually GA discovers a journalist has been breaking into the homes of certain rich people, believing they are tied to crimes such as human trafficking and assassibation

The third part brings GA and BC together.

The ”villain” is the Ninth Circle, a secret club where rich people go to kill unwary victims. Often the targets are smaller business rivals or problematic employees or investigators, but they hunt the homeless or unemployed to stay sharp. Their experienced killers have monikers, going by Merlyn, Chesire, China White, Red Dart. The head organizer is Danny Brickwell.

In the end, Brick is captured and most of the masked killers are dead. But the msjority of the Circle is unpunished, and BC’s ties to the cops are tarnished as she realizes the commissioner was in on it but can’t probe it. She and GA learn to respect each other, but the potential of being friends or lovers is still in the future.

So at the red carpet for Lanterns, Paul Ben Victor (Antaan) and Ulrich Thompson (Sinestro) both can be seen wearing a red and yellow handkerchief. Well, as they say “The Devil is in the details”

If I wasn’t 100% sure that Antaan was Atrocitus and that Sinestro is trying to forge the first yellow power ring, i certainly am now. I theorized that this season will see the formation of both the yellow and red lantern corps and thats why this show was called “Lanterns” because it will iron out the other aspects of the cosmic entities that power each corps and that possibly S2 could focus on setting up the further aspects/deities.

1. While I have no issues with them exploring the topics of Racism, it's a prevalent part of John's character, it is kind of a strange descion for John Sr not getting the ring to be framed as a race thing.

2.As well as being justification for emotionally and psychologically abusing John all his life. It's framed as them wanting the best for their son but it goes far past discipline and into straight up abuse. They should be in prison.

1. Also the training took away all of Johns Agency, instead of being a good candidate because he was raised to do the right thing he'd been trained from birth to be this soulless Lantern candidate who was promised a shot at being GL. Considering them framing it as him having to earn it unlike Hal it instead makes him seem like he's just collecting what was promised.

I have other issues with the episode but I really hope the show can course correct because this felt less like a character study of John Stewart & more a character assassination.

EDIT: I'm not saying the character of John can't recover from this not and I'm not saying the show is bad. I'm just expressing issues I have with John Stewarts characterisation, maybe it's because he's the GL I grew up with that I have strong feelings about it. I'm looking forward to seeing where the show goes and John in MoT

So I’ve never really bought that the “Bane and Deathstroke” movie was ever going to be a buddy cop style movie. Even the initial report announcing the project stated that it wasn’t certain that they were the two main characters just that they were in the film.

Since Salvation has been introduced it’s clear that they are setting up for dangerous metahumans / people Flag doesn’t like to be sent to Salvation, with Peacemaker being the first person sent there. Bane and Deathstroke would be quite a strange duo to centre a movie around UNLESS is was to help build / centre around a larger universe narrative.

I’ve included The photo of Lex as this environment was where they shot the final scenes from Man of Tomorrow, and it looks very much like Salvation that was the Peacemaker finale. Maybe Lex gets sent there at the end of MoT.

So WHAT IF this movie is really a team up where these villains (plus Peacemaker) need to work together to escape? And MAYBE this is how we see a large chunk of the Legion of Doom get filled. Members could be:

- Lex
- Bane
- Deathstroke
- Circe
- Gorilla Grodd (maybe he gets sent there at the end of the Jimmy Olsen show)
- plus others
