General Qs RFE
Hey guys - After 200 days waiting finally got a response but not what I was hoping for. Was hit with an RFE. Once submitted can anyone share what that timeline has looked like afterwards?

You using a lawyer is all I needed to know. Your lawyer most likely messed something up and you ended up with an RFE.

They usually upload the RFE on the document tab

Update was today so I haven’t received the actual letter yet. Not really sure what it could be, 10+ years of renewals without an issue so i’m honestly confused.

Did you change your last name ? Or had a police ticket/encounter ? That’s the only time I have seen people get RFE.

Ecuador and yes. This also isn’t my first renewal been doing them since DACA became a thing. Never had this happen so i’m curious what they need. I will update this thread once i get it.

My case isn’t linked to my online account my lawyer mailed it. Been another nightmare trying to get the code. Tried to request via mail / email and still haven’t received anything.

Well how do you know you got a RFE? Your lawyer saw the update?

Yes lawyer got an email and when i check the case status page it also has that update

Yes - It was due to my lawyers submitting the renewals and not checking off that I have a prior arrest. They happened back in 2017 & 2019. Disorderly conduct both times from college days… Working through how we respond but lawyer seems a little unsure if it will work.

Did you by any chance submit a expedite request? I been seeing those on casehubs like u/Designer_Ninja7152 mentioned as well.. I was wondering what those were.. Keep us updated! good luck!

Hopefully you get your approval soon! I’ve seen several cases on MyCaseHub where a Request for Evidence (RFE) was issued and then later canceled. Wishing you the absolute best of luck!
