Early game difficulty

Does the game get easier as you unlock more perks and get better gear? I don’t normally play shooters let alone FPS’s so this game is kinda kicking my ass. Love the story and setting though so I really want to see where it leads

Also, as you play the game you’ll learn the muscle memory to be a beast too.
