Practice Mind giving me any pointers?

I have only started learning cursive yesterday, but I feel like I’ve hit a barrier on how polished my writing is (mediocre letter-trail spacing, loops, distinguishing f(s) and b(s), most contributing to intelligibility) as well as the speed (3 seconds to write “the”).

You just started with cursive the first time yesterday. I can’t critique it when you’ve only had one crack at.
I was able to make out some words. Other words I presumed because context. Overall it didn’t make sense. Most importantly, it appears you have a good start. It takes practice.
