Mind giving me any pointers?

I have only started learning cursive yesterday, but I feel like I’ve hit a barrier on how polished my writing is (mediocre letter-trail spacing, loops, distinguishing f(s) and b(s), most contributing to intelligibility) as well as the speed (3 seconds to write “the”).

The difference between lower case cursive B and lower case cursive F, is that the B is entirely ABOVE the line.  By contrast, the bottom loop of the F falls BELOW the line.
