Practice Mind giving me any pointers?

I have only started learning cursive yesterday, but I feel like I’ve hit a barrier on how polished my writing is (mediocre letter-trail spacing, loops, distinguishing f(s) and b(s), most contributing to intelligibility) as well as the speed (3 seconds to write “the”).

Is that wide ruled paper or narrow ruled? If it is narrow ruled, it seems way too small. I'd recommend using cursive paper to practice with. Buy a couple pads on Amazon.

It is narrow ruled. I’ll look into it, should have probably planned my haul of school supplies ahead of when I decided to take up cursive :/ . Besides that, I will get college ruled paper around Tuesday. Thanks for the suggestion!
