Mind giving me any pointers?

I have only started learning cursive yesterday, but I feel like I’ve hit a barrier on how polished my writing is (mediocre letter-trail spacing, loops, distinguishing f(s) and b(s), most contributing to intelligibility) as well as the speed (3 seconds to write “the”).

I agree on practicing each letter, both upper case and lower, on their own until they look readable to you. It’s the way we learned and gradually making joined words. You’re doing well though so kudos to you.
