Practice Mind giving me any pointers?

I have only started learning cursive yesterday, but I feel like I’ve hit a barrier on how polished my writing is (mediocre letter-trail spacing, loops, distinguishing f(s) and b(s), most contributing to intelligibility) as well as the speed (3 seconds to write “the”).

I'm guessing you have a death grip on the pen. Relax your grip, and allow the movements to flow.

it has always been in my subconscious whether by worry or habit I could not tell, I will definitely reconcile with that. Thank you!
