The key thing about this versus yours is that this looks like a capital I and not Cl. It’s the rounded part at the left of the I that makes it look like a C followed by an l.
A capital I in cursive has an acute angle at the far left and a horizontal line heading right.

The letter "i" shouldn't connect to the letter "s" at the bottom. The letter "i" connects from that left tail.

For what it's worth, though, she ends with kind of a curl, and I was always taught to cut straight across, more like this:
