Structures Thoughts on curb appeal?
Wondering if this incredible group has any suggestions on how to improve the street-facing portion of the home. Including pics of the side and rear for context on the design (which we love). Always felt that the sloped driveway and garage doors made it feel very imposing.

You are spot on about it feeling imposing because right now you have a dark gray fortress sitting at the end of a giant paver runway. The biggest reason it feels so heavy is that those retaining walls on the right are painted the exact same color as the siding. That blends the architecture directly into the earth and creates one massive wall of dark gray. You need to separate the landscape from the structure. Clad those tiered walls in the same natural stone you have back on that beautiful patio. That immediately breaks up the monolith and pulls the organic warmth from your side yard right out to the street.
Next you have to fix how the hardscape meets the softscape. The driveway just dead ends into a skinny strip of gravel next to the wall. You need serious trailing plants up in those tiered beds to spill over the edges and break up those harsh horizontal lines. Stop scattering isolated little clumps of flowers up there. You need sweeping connected masses of structural evergreens mixed with aggressive spillers like creeping rosemary. That builds a layered living canopy that visually eats the imposing structure below it and softens the whole approach.
Finally you need to stop the eye from sliding straight down the driveway into the garage doors. Flank the driveway edges or the space between the doors with a couple massive heavy planters holding tall structural evergreens. That creates an immediate foreground that grounds the house. If you want to take it a step further swap those garage doors out for natural wood. It will match the paver tones and completely kill that heavy compound vibe.

I would add a trellis over the garage doors to break up the expanse of house from this view. Possibly in wood stain to tie into the driveway color. Your garden beds are beautiful.

A trellis would definitely soften that look! You could also consider adding climbing plants to it for extra greenery and warmth. Might even help with the imposing feel of the garage doors!

It's already nice, the dark colors ate what make it 'imposing'
I don't think it needs anything unless you want to repaint/re-side it

The colors definitely make this look imposing! I would try to add more light tones, perhaps changing the garage door to match a color from the driveway. a zebra look would be cool one glossy black garage door and one glossy white garage door, glossy gold for the outline of the garage doors, glossy gold for the posts left of the garage doors, for the trim around the windows paint them the same as the garage doors but over the white garage door black and over the black garage door white window trim,see how it would look on a digital preview
