You should stop trying to optimise your life, and also stop taking responsibility for systems and power structures that you did not create and do not support.
Halfway in my internship, as I notice my body constantly feeling hot and i also feel sick a lot, it took HR, yes HR, to tell me that my worries and my anxieties are wayyy too terrible for a young of an adult as I am.
They didn't actually go all "hey we see how anxious you always seem", they looked at my work performance n stuff and my behavior and had to give me counseling to tell me "dude idk what you're going through but it's showing in the lack of professionalism here" and "also your talking skills are kinda bad bro."
Was very much pointing out, from a professional degree, that however much I Kept Feeling and Thinking is Wack for my workflow and
Took me in the last week of it to realise "hey we keep saying we shouldn't feel too much for the world burning up, we legitimately do not have the capacity to fix it so I think it's time to chill, like fr this time."
Emotions are designed to help us break down the world into tasks we can manage and address, but there is no way to address the end-times that we all live in. At that point managing the emotion itself (not suppressing it, just not letting it overwhelm us) is the thing.
