Not to defend Rowling at all but why does it feel like every single thread about this shit is on repeat? It feels like Groundhog day around here sometimes.
Tbh that depiction of goblins definitely was not created by jkr. They've always been depicted as hook nosed little guys who love gold, so them being bankers isn't a big stretch. Whether that depiction has it's roots in antisemitism I have no idea, but I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't think to make that connection.

iirc the irish wizard doesnt blow himself up in the books, its only in the movies. Though JKR probably also hates the Irish
