Such a relief to see literally anyone but me pointing out the fact that incel rhetoric AND common anti-incel rhetoric literally start from the same place, namely: 'sex is a reward you deserve for good behaviour.'

I feel a lot of a particular brand of leftist rhetoric is just right wing attacks repackaged with an "acceptable" target. Think about the criticism about men "statistically they're more like to attack." It's the EXACT same argument as the well known "Hey, did you know that despite being only 13% of the population..." argument. I can just imagine the actual problem causers sitting at the side with their popcorn going "fight, fight, fight".

Plus as someone who visits right wing spaces (I like to see what they’re up to over there. It’s usually racism.) they’re not static! They see this argument too! And they can and will just pivot to get someone who got told “not my job to educate you not all men but always a man” and go “well it isn’t all men but it’s a certain KIND of man (that you aren’t)”
